I watched the way he interacted with his buyers and with the listing agent hosting the event. The professionalism, the respect, the knowledge. We were honestly blown away. We wanted to work with him on the spot. When we approached him, he was gracious and flattered — and then he asked the question: “Are you already working with another broker?” And like honest people. We said yes. Robert immediately told us he couldn’t take another agent’s client. “Bad karma,” he said. “Everyone’s just trying to survive in this business.” It was the most ethical, high-road answer I’ve ever heard from a real estate broker. So no — we never actually got to work with Robert. But the integrity he showed in a 60-second interaction told us everything we needed to know. If he treats other agents that well, imagine how he treats his own clients. If we ever find ourselves without representation, we know exactly who our first call will be.
